Business operation of new generation intelligent decision-making meteorological service information system

 On December 22nd, a new generation of intelligent decision-making meteorological service information system 3.0(MESIS3.0) was officially put into operation, which will strongly support the construction and interaction of national and provincial integrated decision-making service business systems.

The system is developed and constructed based on the cloud+end business model, covering the whole process of decision-making service. Based on the basic functions of making decision-making meteorological information analysis and processing products, it enhances the multi-scenario decision-making meteorological service functions such as comprehensive display of development forecast and early warning, key monitoring of sudden disasters, special support for major events, and comprehensive service of emergency accidents, realizing multi-dimensional statistical analysis and mining based on meteorological big data, and supporting the impact assessment of various disasters such as rainstorm, typhoon and high temperature. It has the functions of multi-source information-driven intelligent perception, intelligent judgment of meteorological service process and intelligent processing of products based on AI technology, which greatly improves the efficiency of decision-making meteorological service.

The system has been tested and applied in the National Meteorological Center since the flood season last year, and it was put into trial operation in April this year. It has played an important role in the weather process such as rainstorm, high temperature, typhoon and cold wave since the flood season, and played a supporting role in the major meteorological service guarantee such as the Beijing Winter Olympics.
