Liu Fang, the 187th blind teacher： the ＂mother＂ in students’ minds.

After a long time, Liu Fang’s vision problems became more and more serious. In 2007, when the word "Chinese" in the textbook completely disappeared from sight, darkness surrounded Liu Fang. She’s, uh, blind. Ten years ago, she knew that this day would come. So she had to leave the podium. After that, Liu Fangmeng, who was restless, came up with the idea of opening a student psychological counseling room. After being approved by the school, Liu Fang will give more than 50 psychological counseling classes to 25 classes in the whole school every semester, and teach moral education lessons to teachers and students in the radio station and playground.

Whenever students have something that they can’t figure out, they will walk into Liu Fang’s consulting room. Liu Fang listens carefully, patiently feels the changes in students’ hearts, and shows up to enlighten students through her feelings from "seeing with eyes" to blindness. Students all like to tell their "little secrets" to Liu Fang. Many students think that Liu Fang is gentle and strict, just like her mother. They all affectionately call Liu Fang "Liu Ma".

Once, a stranger wanted to commit suicide because of emotional frustration and sent a short message to Liu Fang by mistake. After making a phone call, Liu Fang persuaded the strange girl. For three months, Liu Fang talked to the girl she had never met again and again. Finally, one day, the strange girl wanted to open up and promised Liu Fang to live well. From a Chinese teacher to a psychological counseling teacher, she constantly helps and pays attention to children in difficulty, left-behind children and problem students.

It is said that people who are blind the day after tomorrow are the most painful, but instead of being swallowed up by the darkness, Liu Fang shines on countless people around her with a warm heart. Yuan Fengmei, an orphan, is one of the objects that Liu Fang helped. Yuan Fengmei dropped out of school because of family poverty, and Liu Fang paid for her education. Because of her unfortunate life experience, Yuan Fengmei was once sensitive and autistic. Liu Fang patiently enlightened and cared for her, so that Yuan Fengmei swept away the haze in her heart and was positive. She was admitted to the Hongzhi Class of Experimental Baiyun No.3 Middle School with a high score of 584, and later admitted to Beijing Normal University with a high score of 625. Liu Fang used her efforts to practice the promise of "teacher oath" to keep learning, overcome difficulties, teach fertility morality and be a teacher.

In life, Liu Fang loves reading very much. Even if she is blind, she will often visit bookstores. When she is at home in her spare time, she will also use blind software to create. She wrote the novel Pomegranate Qingqing with 170,000 words. After the publication of Pomegranate Qingqing, Liu Fang spent more than 150,000 yuan on public welfare. Later, Liu Fang created a novel with hundreds of thousands of words, Ten Years of Flowers, and also used the income from book sales as a charity fund for caring for left-behind children and needy students in rural areas.

Liu Fang constantly touched and influenced people with her tiny but not thin strength, and drew a beautiful blueprint for life with her tenacity and perseverance.
