Due to the heavy rainfall and long duration, the river in Xiaohe area of Zhonglu Town, Lichuan City soared, and some rivers overflowed the riverbank and rushed into the street, and some villagers’ living and production materials were washed away.
By 2 pm on the 16th, the rainfall in Xiaohe area was gradually decreasing, and the water on the street was slowly receding. The local authorities immediately organized villagers to clean up the sediment and garbage on the street.
In Qingjiang Village, Wangying Town, torrential rain caused flash floods, which caused many village roads to be washed away by floods and blocked traffic. Wangying Town immediately mobilized 30 members of the militia emergency detachment to rush to the scene to carry out emergency rescue. At present, all local village roads have resumed traffic. As of 2 pm on the 16th, rainfall continued in some towns and villages in Lichuan City.
