A recent study in the United States found that the so-called solid electrolyte interface (SEI), the fundamental reason for the performance decline of lithium batteries, is not an electronic insulator as previously thought, but behaves like a semiconductor. SEI acts like a guardian, allowing lithium ions to enter and exit the anode freely. Recently, China Chemical and Physical Power Industry Association issued a notice to publicize and solicit opinions on the group standard of "General Specification for Sodium Ion Batteries" on the Internet from October 8 to November 7.After the public consultation, the compilation team is expected to officially release this Code around November and begin to implement it.It is reported that the General Specification for Sodium Ion Batteries is applicable to sodium ion batteries and battery modules used in electric vehicles, light power and energy storage.(First Electric)
