On the evening of July 27th, the 7-day Jackie Chan International Action Movie Week came to an end in the ancient capital Datong. This year’s Film Week is co-sponsored by Film Channel, Datong Municipal People’s Government and Jackie Chan International Group. With the theme of "Seeing Great Harmony with Your Heart", the concept of "More Action, More International and More Splendid", the core of poverty alleviation is to promote cultural precision and poverty alleviation, and action movies are used as the medium to promote the international spread of China culture and promote the exchange and mutual learning of world civilizations.

Since July 21st, the 5th Jackie Chan International Action Film Week has held a series of wonderful activities, such as the protection plan of the ancient Great Wall against poverty, the opening ceremony, the Star Action Datong Yellow Flower Ordering Conference, the International Fan Carnival, Yungang International Forum, the action film screening, and the "Iron Man" honor selection, which brought a series of film culture feasts to the global audience.

　

Nearly 100 global filmmakers, including Jackie Chan, Tsui Hark, Jason Wu, martin campbell, Yasuaki Kurata and Adrien Brody, gathered in Datong to talk about the integration and breakthrough of movies, discuss the development and inheritance of action movies together, carry forward the craftsmanship and continue the cultural consciousness of exchange and mutual learning.

　

On the night of the closing ceremony, Chinese and foreign filmmakers such as Yuan Heping, Liu Weiqiang, Sergei Podlov, paul haggis, Kara Wai, Liu Yifei, Tong Liya, Jing Tian, Han Geng, Chen Daoming, Chang Pangui, Zhang Lanxin, Wu Yue and Wang Dalu gathered together to help global action filmmakers, while singers such as Li Zongsheng, Zhou Huajian, Wang Leehom, Zhang Liangying and Chang Shilei.

Jackie Chan International Action Movie Week aims to commend filmmakers who have made outstanding contributions to action movies, promote the exchange and industrial development of action movies, focus on cultivating new forces of global action movies, and at the same time build a permanent, open, pluralistic and inclusive international dialogue platform for action movies around the world, so as to promote mutual learning among cultures. A total of 152 films from 36 countries participated in the competition, and the number and proportion of overseas films all reached the highest in history. After fierce competition, 10 action movies from 7 countries stood out and were shortlisted for the final selection. It is one of the important meanings of Jackie Chan International Action Film Week to promote the dialogue among filmmakers from all countries on the platform of pluralistic coexistence. At this film week, representatives of stuntmen Association from China, Russian, Japanese, German and other eight countries and regions launched a wonderful frontier ideological collision in Datong on the topic of new breakthroughs in action movies in the new era and new technology. At the closing ceremony, these representatives of stuntmen Association and Jackie Chan, the initiator of Film Week, presented a special flag to Datong for permanent commemoration. The flag is painted with the LOGO of the stuntmen Association from all over the world, symbolizing the solidarity and friendship of stuntmen, and the determination to work together to promote the integration of world civilizations.

　

That night, Jonathan Lee and Emil Wakin Chau also made a surprise appearance. Together with Jackie Chan, they sang the classic song "True Hero".
